Basement Waterproofing in Crete, NE
The foundation floor in this Crete property showed significant cracking, spalling, and concrete deterioration with exposed aggregate, while the crawlspace contained pooled water and scattered debris indicating persistent moisture intrusion. Nebraska's expansive clay soils shift seasonally, creating foundation stress that this property had not adequately managed, requiring both structural assessment and drainage intervention.
Epp Foundation Repair installed an interior drainage system with perforated drain pipes and filter fabric to capture and redirect groundwater away from the foundation, paired with a sump pump to actively manage water accumulation in the crawlspace. The system was installed across the foundation perimeter in the wet crawlspace area, eliminating pooled water and protecting the concrete floor from further moisture-related deterioration. The project was fully documented with 57 on-site photos across 2 site visits by 2 crew members, providing a complete record of conditions and completed work.
Completed and documented on site by Epp Foundation Repair’s field crew. Serving Nebraska homeowners since 1994.
