Concrete Leveling Project
The foundation at this residential property showed a vertical crack running through the brick and mortar joints, evidence of settlement caused by the expansive clay soils common throughout Nebraska. These soils shift dramatically with seasonal moisture changes, placing stress on foundations that lack adequate deep support, and the visible cracking indicated the structure had already shifted noticeably.
Epp Foundation Repair stabilized the foundation using void fill beneath the structure to address the subsurface settlement. The crew excavated around the brick foundation, installed the void-fill system, and set up the necessary drainage infrastructure to manage future moisture movement. The work was completed over 6 site visits with a 3-person crew and documented with 70 on-site photos, ensuring thorough coverage of this complex repair.
Completed and documented on site by Epp Foundation Repair’s field crew. Serving Nebraska homeowners since 1994.
